Searching for THE ring

I''m ready to pop the question but haven''t been able to find the ring at the right price. I went ring shopping with her and have a good idea of what she likes. Im searching for:

has to be white and sparkle, standard facets, she didn''t like the LEO collection at Jared''s (I think they''re similar to hearts on fire)

My budget is <10k

~ 1 ct.
colorless (D-F)
ideal cut
VS1-SI1

I''ve been to some of the local stores(Jared''s, Mayor''s, Tiffany''s). We saw a ring at Tiffany''s that she really likes but at $16k it''s out of my range. Plus, I feel like I''ve done all this research. I would like to purchase from an online vendor (WF, James Allen, etc) to save. She really liked the Novo setting at Tiffany''s. Third ring below

Go custom?

For the stone, it is quite easy to fit the budget, so find a setting that you like first then source a stone from that vendor.

Is the set on the Tiffany Novo or is she willing to go for an inspired version? Here is one from excel that can be as closed as the Novo

For Nouveau from BlueNile, they won't sell the setting alone.

I once tried to buy the setting without the stone. The SA told me that that setting requires a stone purchased

The Leo aren't like HoF as they have extra facets, HoF are similar to the branded h&a seen here such as A Cut Above etc. You could go custom and have the setting created that your GF likes or one of the vendors might have something similar.

Thanks for the replies. The custom ring may be the way to go. The Excel diamond looks close enough and nice to me, but the GF gave it thumbs down

Oh well, the search continues...

How close would a custom ring match the Tiffany Novo and would anyone know a rough estimate of what that would cost in platinum? Finally, what would be some recommended vendors who will work with me on making a custom ring as such?
