Searching for the right e-ring

Cut: Hearts & Arrow or Ideal
Colour:H or better
Clarity: SI1 or better
Carat: 0.5-0.70
GIA or AGS certified

Currently my top pick is this one:

I dont like that setting. The CAD look looks amazing, but the real life doesnt seem to live up. Also, for your budget, youll want to get a stone and setting at the same place, no reason to pay for a setting fee with that kind of wiggle room

this one is lovely and under budget. the stone sits up a little high so the stone will look a little larger, and you wont have to wear a spacer or anything with it.

I would add milgraining. Its free, and it would really make this look spectacular.

if you notice its less than a .1 mm difference in the face up size. They offer a discount if you are a PS member, that plus the fact that the above setting is 50 less than you were going for, for, it should put you right around 3200, maybe 3300

im still a fan of the first one i posted as I prefer the cathedral look as i think it makes the stone look larger and feels more secure in the setting... plus im not sure what wedding band you would pair with it.

but

that setting is really beautiful. I was going to recommend it but i thought it might be to much $$

J is not yellow. It's a warm white. Between I and J you see a bit more tint, but from the side not from the top. As diamonds are graded for color face down.

I chose the lotus basket pave setting weeks ago,I just wanted to find the right diamond. Relieved and excited at the same time.

The waiting begins...Hopefully shipping/customs goes well. Anything I should know about clearing Canadian customs faster?

I believe Fedex is supposed to send me a form once they are ready to ship.

Package arrived at Fedex Ottawa yesterday and went through Customs after I signed over Power of Attorney form. I paid the taxes, no duties and a $10 ROD fee. It is currently held at Fedex so I can pick it up tonight without the fiancée-to-be knowing.

Should I still expect a brokerage fee invoice from fedex in the mail in the coming weeks?
