Searching for 1ct round cut

Hello all,

Today I started searching for a diamond engagement ring and have learned a ton from these forums. Based on information gathered here I put together general requirements for my search. I'm having trouble finding diamonds within my price range during my searches on the common online dealers mentioned in these forums.

I'd like someone to link specific diamonds and help me decide which of my 'requirements' can be adjusted in order to fit the budget but also get a great ring.

Budget: $5,000
Carat: >=1 -- Would prefer not to downgrade here
Cut: Ideal
Color: H-I --- I'm unsure about the importance of color so far is I ok?
Clarity: VS2 -- I'm unsure about clarity as well, I've settled on VS2 based on a couple people recommending this being the safest option for untrained people.

I'm not sure how important the following are but I've seen these numbers referenced countless times so I've adopted them:

Table:54-58
Depth: 60-62.3
Crown angle: 34-35
Pavilion angle: 40.6-41

I think you'd have better luck with si clarity and dropping down to a .9+ct stone. I'd .1 really a make or break for you?

i didnt see this before you edited it but i assume it said something about cushions...are you sure you dont want to explore those as well? sense your inspiration ring is a cushion and all... or did she say specifically round?

Would my general stats I'm looking at be similar for cushion diamonds?

are you sure youll go up to 6k for the setting? I dont think you have to go over your budget to get her something lovely.
