Save the Date''s are done!!!

ok, I swear I haven''t posted this much since I got engaged, but I''m so excited!!

My parents and I used Sunday morning at home to finish the Save the Date''s. I have about 50 envelopes addressed, and probably at least 200 more to go. The first wave will go out on Monday of next week.

After 2 months of work, here they are. Completed.

Novbride- Thank you. I''m so happy to hear you say that. I''ve been worried that the colors were bordering on boring, and have been contemplating using gold in order to spruce it up a bit.

iloveprincess- when are you getting married? Mine are going out quite early, but about 75% of our guests will be OOT, so I want people to be able to plan their vacation.

Claritek- Yes, I''m doing the STD envelopes by hand.

Ams- Thank you!! You wouldn't believe how hard those bows are to master. My mom was in charge of bow-tie duty. I had to make a "preffered" list, and they get the best bows!!

(ie, FI's parents, FI's sister and her best friend designer in NYC... you get the idea

Thanks y'all!! I'm so happy to see you saying elegant and classy, it's exactly what we wanted.
I put one up on our fridge. FI keeps laughing at me, cause I'll go into the kitchen for something and end up staring at the STD for a few minutes.

I love looking at it. LOL

honey22: Hours doesn't even begin to describe it. I spent two weeks alone, going back and forth on line spacing and font choice alone!! It took my mom about 3 hours to tie all the bows, and my dad was in charge of hole punch, also done in about 3 hours. Now, I have about 100 left to address of my family/friends/FI's friends... and then when FMIL gets me her list, hers will go out
