Ok, so after obsessing about spacing and fonts for 2 weeks, I finally submitted my "project" and got the proof back. I am very happy with the way it has come out, my only tweak would be to make the Date and the City/State (blurred out) a little bit closer together. Yes, I''m a perfectionst. I submit either my finaly approval or another set of changes in the morning. Let me know what you think.

So here''s my question. We have to decide how we want to do the ribbon at the top (In the first 1/3 of the card). Anyone have any ideas? I was thinking bow, and my mom likes the idea of just the two hole punches with the ribbon ends poking out each one (I know that makes no sense... sorry).

I''d just like to see what they would look like with some different styles. Can a photoshop genius or two help me out please?

Well I''m not help with photoshopping, but I just wanted to say that your save-the-date looks lovely! So elegant! And I think a bow at the top would look great!

Okay well actually I gave it a try... In my quick search I could only find this picture of a bow that I thought might work... It''s bowtie... But maybe it will give you an idea.

Ok, what you need to do is go to www.stampinup.com and find a demonstrator. Buy the double rectangle punch! It will punch two holes, side by side, exactly the size of that ribbon you are looking at. Then fold your ribbon in half and insert it into the two holes, sort of like a staple (so ribbon ends down). Take the piece of ribbon poking down into the left hole and bring it up through the right hole, then do the same for the opposite piece. (they will cross in the back). This makes a lovely looking bow and is super fast and easy.

But seriously, that double rectangle punch is the greatest thing EVER! A round hole punch would distort the shape of the ribbon - the rectangles make it look more bow-like.

p.s. You can also purchase Stampin'' Up stuff online now - don''t need to talk to a demonstrator at all. They also sell KILLER ribbon that you might want to look through. Great quality, good price.

Here''s a sample with the picture of the ribbon you included.

Here are some other samples with ribbon I found on this website.

I appreciate the heads up. I hadn''t even thought about how the holes needed to be punched. I''ll have to keep my eye out when we decide on a ribbon!!

Girlie-girl, thank you so much!! That''s exactly what I needed.
