Could someone help point me to the differences in the
SARIN''S interpretation of the new and old AGS Cut Grading system?

What are the key differences?

side note, what is the boundaries to achieve a AGS0 vs AGS1 in a RB table on the old AGS Cut Grading system in SARIN ?

It's a mess when sellers employ the old (1996) Sarin plug-in which follows an outdated system. The problem is that a number of now-acceptable parameters will get a deduction and non-acceptable will not.

The newest Sarin software incorporates current AGS PGS software which will give a current prediction of the correct AGS grade.

Knowing which plug-in is employed is the trick.

53-58 receives blanket 0 in the old system. Today's system evaluates how all the facets work together.

Hi john
Which software version indicates the swtich from the OLD AGS parameters to the NEW AGS parameters?

Do the variances in the angles affect the grade of 0,1.. etc

How is it that a table size of 57.6% can get a 1 ?

Give more information before you ask people to answer a question, we don''t even know the context of the question.

For polished DiaVision v 4.2 and higher have PGS embedded.

When new AGS PGS is run yes, angular variance may influence the grade. For older versions and when running GIA Facetware embedding only the averaged angles are used, so no.

There may have been a 57.5% T cutoff in the old software...53-58% stands in my memory but I also recall 52.4-57.5 as an old range...splittin' hairs here. If 57.6% results in a reduction with new software it's because of other particulars; more info is necessary.
