I remember Rhino saying you need 3-d sarin info for diam calc for a princess stone.

I recently received a sarin report for a stone I was looking at (and have passed on it because the table and depth were the opposite way around to what was listed on the pricescope search) but none-the-less I would like to know if it contains sufficient information to calculate a light return image. My feeling is that this is not a 3-d report, and would need some extra figures- is this correct?

The sarin figures are:
weight- 0.55
Length- 4.58
width- 4.51
Total depth- 3.19mm 70.8%
Table- 3.29mm, 3.29mm, 3.30mm 73.1%
Crown A- 40.0 37.9 41.5
Crown h 0.41mm 0.4mm 0.42mm 9.1%
Pavil a 41.8 40.4 43.2
Pavil d 1.89 1.78 2.01 42.0%

Also, is there anywhere that we can use diamcalc on a pay-per view basis, rather than forking out a rather large amount of money for a program that you may use only once or twice? I can''t download the thing anyway, because there is a firewall on my work computer and my laptop is shared with my girlfriend who uses for work each day- and she may notice a diamond calculation program, and start wondering!

cheers

Maybe you can find a kind sole here who will run the specs through their software for you.

You need a 3D Sarin report, other wise it is a waste of time, and missleading.
