Sapphire Halo Mounting..What Would You Put In It?

Here is the new sapphire and diamond platinum mounting that I''m getting from Dover Jewelry. The center holds a 2 ct. stone. What should I put in it? Since the mounting has a vintage look, I was thinking about an asscher or a square EC.

Are there any other shapes that might look good in it? Can someone PLEASE photoshop some diamonds in it for me?

This is a ring that Dover has on their website. It has a 1.02 princess in the center. I don''t think I want a princess since it is a vintage looking ring and the princess is a modern cut. What do you think?

the omc looks too disorganized with the geometric lines of the mounting. I''d stay with an emerald or asscher. Beautiful mount though! I love the gallery view!!

Though I love my OMC, I think the asscher looks better in that setting, because of the clean lines of the setting. I even like the princess..... I am no help,huh? LOL Sorry but I have to say, I love that setting.
