Saphirre & diamond

Can i purchase this ring...? The dealer claims that the stones are real and the ring is from 1880. See photo...Thanks!

Are you asking if you SHOULD purchase the ring? If you are not sure that the diamonds are real then the dealer should be able to show you on his/her diamond tester that they are. The sapphires are harder to tell as a lab sapphire will have the same refractive index as a real sapphire. So you would need an appraiser to look at the ring to test the stones and authenticity. So does the ring have a money back return policy? Is is a steal of a deal? My rule of thumb is do not spend more then you can afford to lose on anything that is not a sure deal. Sure deals for me come with reputable lab certificates, and return policies. Good luck.
