Okay, first post here on this forum.
I''ve been reading up using this site for a little while now and finally took the plunge and put a deposit down on an engagement ring at a small local B&M. The knowledge I''ve learned here has been extremely instrumental in my diamond shopping. But I was wondering if this was a good buy on my part or not. I only have 7 days to decide and am hoping for some feedback from the experts.
Here are the specs:
Brilliant Round 0.875 H VS2 AGS Ideal 0 (Laser inscribed cert # on table)
Measurements: 6.18 x 6.19 x 3.79 mm
Table: 55.7
Depth: 61.3
Crown Angle: 34.0 degrees
Crown Depth: 15.0%
Pavilion Angle: 41.0 degrees
Pavilion Depth: 43.3%
Polish and Symmetry: Ideal
Girdle: 1.1 to 3.3%
Culet: Pointed
Fluorescence: None
================================
$4149 on sale for $3549.00
Paired with a platnum solitare ring ($1050 on sale for $700)
I check out the diamond in setting both in store and outside in natural light and it did look very nice with lots of fire and scintillation showing.
