I'm headed to SLC for work next week and I was hoping to break up the monotony with some jewelry shopping!
Any suggestions on where to go?

Are you looking to buy or to enjoy the experience of shopping? I remember visiting O. C. Tanners back in the late 70's when I was preparing to open my store in Boise. It was the cat's meow back then and I understand it is still a magnificent place. I used to know many of the folks there back in the day, but they have all retired and I do not know the new staff at all.

9th and 9th also has an excellent reputation, but I have never been there. There are several jewelers within walking distance of the LDS Temple and that part of town is very picturesque.

I think you should just walk around and enjoy!
