E showed off the stone that we will be using for an ering to his buddy the other day.

his buddy said "WOW.. that is so sparkly...and huge!" (okay, its .57, so nice size. boys

)
I could tell he was very proud of where we were headed.

I had also worried that he still might be a little sore on the fact that we are using an heirloom from my side of the family. but now, for sure, he is excited about it!!

tuck - we found a setting at all places, helzberg Jewelers, where they were having a vendor coming in. the best way I can describe it is that it is micro pave knife-ish, with two small side stones (probably not more that 1/5, which makes gma looks huge). Its so pretty!! I cannot wait till I see the final product…to bad I have to wait another 6 or so months…

Sunny – you know I will be coming to you asking you who you used, etc for when I start planning!!!

As a guy who does understand the symbolism of the ring, I have to say that the ignorance of other guys is a little embarrassing. A beautiful ring is just as much a statement about the giver as it is about the recipient (if not more so).
