Ruby Ring Worth Considering?

Being that I can''t afford a top notch ruby..what do you think of the color and clarity on this one? I am also looking at spinels but can''t find one with just the right color.

The garnet will have much more life to it. Spessartite has high dispersion and will sparkle!

Plus you will know that the stone is untreated, rare and will probably cost you less!

Honestly? I like the setting a lot but not so much the ruby. The color is coming across my screen as muddy and with no life but that may just be my screen.

I don''t think so - he has a gallery on his site of gems customers have had set, but no jewelry.
