I''m getting this ruby, do you think its genuine?

Spec:

- A SUPERB PIGEON BLOOD RED RUBY GEM FROM NAYASIEK AND TANAI RUBY DEPOSITS IN NOTHERN BURMA.
- UNTREATED AND UNHEATED RUBY GEM.
- SUPERB BEAUTIFULL SMOOTHLY POLISHED NO CRACKS.
- RING SIZE: MEDIUM FOR MEN AND LARGE FOR LADY''S
- WEIGHT: 4 CARATS
- COLOR: BLOOD RED
- CLARITY: WITH INCLUSIONS
- SOLID 925 SILVER RING

It is not very pricey (auction). The price starts at 20USD. (I''m in Malaysia btw).

There''s no way to tell from a photograph...

Nice gem quality rubies of four carats are very rare and consequently very expensive.

Given its size, price and that it''s been mounted in silver...I would assume it is a low quality stone if it is genuine...

Tell us what you think after it arrives!

As to whether its synthethic or not can't be determined from this photo.

As to whether any dealer would set a "superb 4 carat unheated & untreated pigeon blood red ruby" in silver and offer it for a ridiculously low price.....I seriously doubt it.

It will be interesting to see where the bidding goes. Keep us posted.

Hehe okay, thank you guys. I think I''m not gonna waste my time for it.

Anyway, here''s another picture:
