I've always loved antique jewelry and was smitten when I first found this ring online in 2013. I showed it to DH, who was deployed at the time, as an example of the kind of birthstone ring I would like (July baby!). A few weeks later, it disappeared. It was sold. My heart broke a little. Fast forward to months later when DH returned from deployment. My parents had sent a special package to me for him to open when he got home. He got midway through opening and asked if I could "help". Well, if you're still reading, you've probably pieced together that it was a set up! Naturally, I squealed with excitement!
She has since been appraised. I know the stones are real: a cabochon pinkish red ruby and two rose cut sidestones. The YG is 9ct. And she's from the UK.
Please enjoy a few pics!
