Rubies By The Yard Necklace

Surprised myself by buying this recently. Not much of a ruby person, but when I saw it, it was so delicate but the stones stood out well for the size, 2-3mm. I asked if there was any treatment but heat and the jeweler said she didn't think so. I wear it often. Never thought I would wear a red and yellow necklace. Not usually my colors! Think it's because it's small, so can wear it with anything.

18 inches, 14k yellow gold.

Ohhh That is GORGEOUS. I have four rubies about that size that I bought from a gem dealer like 4 years ago that I was trying to decide what to do with, this or a ring are what I am between. I think this might actually win. This alternated with diamonds of the same size?! Heaven.
