Rubellite or pink tourmaline?

I have just purchased a stone that was labelled a Rubellite, but for me it looks much more like a pink tourmaline. What do you think?

I feel like your stone is contentious. It’s a case where it could be argued that it’s rubellite or pink tourmaline. It’s not a case of straight up “Nah that is obviously pink tourmaline.”
