As usual with SI Clarity stones the key is if they are eye clean. If that one is eye clean it is probably a good deal. Ask the vendor and they should be able to tell you about the inclustions and if they are visable.

ideally, I would want the girdle in my stone to be thin to medium. When you get into a girdle that is thick, then the stone may be "hiding" weight in the girdle where you can''t see it. And it would therefore appear smaller to a same weight stone w/ thin to medium girdle.

The James Allen stone you posted could be nice, but I would check with them to see that the "very thin" part of the girdle is not a large portion. Also you could ask if they have an idealscope picture, or sarin.

I guess the question was too stupid.......they said it was eye clean......

The stone looks great! I think you have nothing to worry about purchasing from James Allen. My stone has two inclusions and it was the FIRST thing he pointed out to me.....made sure I was ok with the "bad" first then went onto the good. I didn''t feel as if he would sell me anything that wasn''t quality. I also had concernes about the girdle of my diamond and I had one part that was marked very thin (same as yours)......Jim checked it all out for me and it turned out to be just a miniscule part of it was very thin...like a teeny teeny tiny spot. But the point is he went over the whole girdle and checked everything out.....i''m sure he''d do the same for you.
