Round diamond: trellis or tiffany 6 prong

I haven't yet selected my stone but it will be round and 2.0 carats or slightly above.
I think I like the trellis look - a thicker band but have been considering the Tiffany 6 prong as well with a 2.5 mm width band.
Which showcases the diamond better?

I think a thinner band makes the diamond look larger, so I would choose the Tiffany. But is your style more classic or contemporary? I think the Tiffany is more timeless, but some prefer a wider setting.

Hmmm....the ring will be worn with an eternity band sometimes and alone on the right hand other times.
I like the thickness of the trellis and it's modern look so i am torn.
I just am not sure it will really show the diamonds sparkle because I think the diamond gets set lower in the basket with the trellis right?

oh, the diamond will definitely sparkle in the trellis setting!! I don't think the sparkle will get lost at all!

Yes, and once you choose a diamond, you can look at the settings that vendor offers, and you may even find some other options. I just posted some more diamonds for you on your other thread.
