this might be a dumb question, but are there any difference in a Round Brilliant vs a Round H&A?

in order for a round stone to have H&A, the symmetry has to be ideal correct?

John Q''s top two posts here will probably help a lot. Though people do point out you can have H&A without ideal proportions, not sure how frequently this is the case, but good to know.

''round brilliant'' describes any round diamond, regardless of the number of facets or the patterning of them.
h&a is a type of patterning created by a certain alignment of facets in a diamond. for some, true h&a is seen as a mark of quality and all true h&a stones will be advertised as such.
