Round Brilliant with tapered Baguettes -CONFUSION :)

Hi everyone,
I have some questions about tapered baguette settings...I''ve noticed there are a few ways to set them... of course we''ve all seen the Harry Winston, the Tiffany''s etc, but beyond that, but keeping with the same "idea" I still see some differences as I look around.... It''s hard to explain and I can''t even find good photos to help my question, but some seem to be going into the band, while some seem to sit on top, while the band kind of goes in right under the baguette...what do you all think? Opinions, clarity, etc-help would be much appreciated!
 
I might sort of know what you are talking about. Mine look like they have metal on all 4 sides but some look like they sort of set up
and have very little holding them in. I think they are considered bar set either way it just all how far they set up.

Here is a picture of mine where you can see the metal... (sorry so big...I should go shrink it). Is that the difference

Thanks for your example-your ring is beautiful. I went to Harry and Cartier this morning to get to the bottom of this... now I can''t decide which style I like best... the double prong or the single ball! Love your band too!
 
Thanks-that''s a great example too...Now I can''t decide double prong claws or regular?!? I attached 2 examples...had to cut it down to fit the size limit.
