Good day everyone! Ive looked around this forum for some time now. But I need some educated assistance. I'm looking to buy a round brilliant 1.70-1.90, color G,H, Clarity vs1,vs2,si1(eye clean only). Exellent cut, polish, and symmetry. I want to keep the price under 17k or less hopefully. It would be for a solitaire engagement ring. Below I have listed 5 diamonds that I have found. They all have HCA scores under 2 and meet the above criteria. I need opinions about my choices and which one is the best. Any advice or assistance would be much appreciated! Or if someone has other stones let me know, I'm all ears and want to make the best decision. Thank you!

I like this one from Whiteflash: http://www.whiteflash.com/loose-diamonds/round-cut-loose-diamond-2972968.htm#

This is a superbly cut stone - you can call them and chat with them about this stone as it is in house and from their A Cut Above line - should be a beauty!

I also like the first one you posted from James Allen and you can call and talk to them about that stone as well.

Thank you MissGotRocks! That is a beautiful looking stone from Whiteflash. My only reservation is I've heard some negative experiences with quality and customer service from WF. But I put it on my short list, I may be splitting hairs at this point. I really wish Blue Nile has more info/images of there stones. Just makes a sight unseen purchase that much more difficult. Thanks again:)

I think for that very reason you'll find many more satisfied customers here from WF. No company is perfect but I would not hesitate to purchase from WF if they had a stone that I liked. There is much transparency here in terms of PS vendors so that should give you some added assurance.

WhiteFlash actually has one of the best reputations here. They have sold a huge number of stones, so naturally there will be a few complaints. But I think their complaints will be far less than most drop shippers.

That said, I agree with MGR and think the WF stone is the best cut and followed by the James Allen 1.71 H VS1 (subject to seeing the idealscope image).

I'm just going to +1 this.

I was actually surprised to read your response about WF, I too feel that they have one of the best reputations on this board. I recently worked with them on a custom piece and I truly couldn't have been happier with my experience. They were an absolute dream to work with. I've worked with James Allen as well and was satisfied with that experience too, but there was something very personal and satisfying about my experience with WF. I wouldn't write them off without at least giving them a call and seeing what YOU think! =)

I wanted to thank you all for the input! I really appreciate it. I'm just waiting to see the idealscope and gemologist notes from James Allen before I decide between that stone and WF.
