rose gold setting question

Not sure which forum this question belongs, but does anyone know of rose gold settings that are engraved similar to the platinum type engraved settings? Is it more difficult to engrave rose gold?

Hi,

I'm no expert but I love rose gold, and I have seen engraved settings. Tacori's line, which includes a slew of engraved settings, comes in rose gold. I don't think it's any more difficult to engrave or work with in general.

You might want to post in Colored Stones. They do a lot of custom setting over there because colored stones are often not calibrated like diamonds to fit in standard settings. There are also several rose gold lovers, especially because different colored metals look good with different colored stones.

Nope - it is perfectly possible to engrave rose gold. However, since it isn't as popular, it is expensive to stock (since it might sit and sit and sit), which limits how many models are available. You can get one custom made or made to order.
