Rose gold and rose cut serpent ring

Checked out a local store that specializes in antiques and vintage and left with a new friend. 1/3 carat uncerted rose cut in the snake's head; don't know if its eyes are rubies or paste. Didn't intend to buy anything today, but I just couldn't leave this little guy behind...
