Hello all,

So I've recently started the daunting search for an engagement ring. I'm a somewhat reformed tomboy, and unlike most women my age, I haven't been looking/researching/fawning over rings all my life, so I'm looking for a bit of help.

I believe I've found the setting, I'm looking for something elegant and simple, without being plain, so I've decided on this Beverley K;

My only issue now is the diamond. I'm exceptionally tiny (4'9") with a ring size of 3.75. I'm looking for a cushion cut, but because of my small finger and stature, believe I'd like to keep it in the 0.6-0.9 range.

My issue is I'm in northern Canada, and can't see the ring in person. Any insight/advice/opinions on how I should proceed? Do you think the setting will overpower a tiny diamond? Will it the setting look out of place on a small hand?

Any advice on diamond size/proportion would be so greatly appreciated. I'm really not great at this, and feeling slightly overwhelmed.

Thanks in advance!

I answered this on your other thread, but BK would make the setting in proportion to the size of your diamond. It likely would be sent to them to set in the setting. The setting would have to be much larger for a 2 ct stone than it would be for a .75 ct stone. So I think it will be fine on your hand!
