Rod Rosenstein is planning to leave his post, as soon as he helps with the transition of Trump's new nominee for Attorney General, William Barr.

I'm not surprised. I suspect that Mueller is close to be done. onto impeachment I say Deb!

Rosenstein is likely a material witness to some of the trump crimes and obstruction of justice from the last 2 years.
It is good he is stepping down once barr is in place so he can testify against the criminal who sits in the oval office and needs to be in prison for the rest of his life.
this weasel of a AG - whitaker- he is going to jail too if he has fed any of the info to trump.

Hi,

I find this piece of news troubling. What is the purpose of telling us this?. I don't think he will be a witness against Trump. It seems to me this would fall under Executive privilege. Why would Rosenstein have evidence of Obstruction when he agreed to write a letter recommending Comeys firing? A new confirmed AG, under the law, will be in charge of the Russia investigation. At the moment there is no telling what the new AG will do. Is Rosenstein telling us the investigation is wrapping up?

The thing that I am afraid of is that the investigation is fizzling out. Roger Stone will be indicted, along with Corsi. Where is Don Jr. and Kushner in all this. We have not a word about them.(except Congress now wants Don JR> back). I do not believe the public will consider lying to Congress particularly bad as Congress is not respected at this time in our history.

I was counting on Mueller to show the behavior of the President to be criminal, so he can be impeached and hopefully jailed. Paying women off still doesn't do it, as we can see from the response of Congress to these charges. If the Rosenstein announcement is a signal, I think Mueller will not even supena the President, much less go for an indictment. If he issued a Supena(SP) it would take months to litigate and Mueller could not write his report till then. So, does this mean that no action will be forthcoming. ?

I am afraid for those of us who were hoping the Mueller report would get rid of Trump, I am having my doubts.

Stop dreaming!. the only way you can get rid of Trump is to vote him out in 2020.
