Rings

I posted these in the RHR thread on SMTR but I think you guys might appreciate them more than the diamond folks.

These are (from top to bottom, left to right) peridot and pink tourmaline in white gold, demantoid in rose gold, chrysoberyl in white gold, demantoid and diamonds in platinum, tsavorites tension set in yellow gold.

Dark blue sapphire and diamonds in white gold, light blue topaz (with big honkin'' window) in white gold, aquamarine and diamonds in white gold, milky aquamarine in 22k gold and aquamarine in white gold.

Synthetic spinel (or ruby) in white gold, zircon and spessartites in yellow gold, really ugly garnet in my mother''s old engagement ring setting (diamonds and white gold). That one I''d really like to swap out for a tsavorite.

Very lovely! Do you mind if I ask what the carat weight for that demantoid is and what ring sz you wear? Garnets are my birthstone and so I was thinking of a petite demantoid ring (much like yours).

The demantoid in rose gold is around 1/2 carat and I think the ring is a size 8 (I usually wear it on my middle finger). The demantoid in platinum is around 1.5 carats and is a size 7.25.

Thanks! It''s not really a spess though. The center stone is a zircon and the small side stones are spessartites. I confess I don''t wear the aqua solitaire because it''s too big for my pinky and too small for any other finger. I need to get off my butt and get it resized.

You can get multiple pictures in one post if the pictures have previously been posted to pricescope, either in another thread or in the gallery.

It''s a green chrysoberyl, around 6mm in diameter set in a fairly hefty white gold setting. It''s a funny little stone. Under fluorescent lights it looks fabulous; could give my larger demantoid a run for the money. Under incandescent lights and sunlight it takes on a decidedly olive cast. It''s definitely office wear ''cause it''s at its best there.

Yes, ma''am. And for yingh who wanted a bunch of demantoid shots. The stone was sourced for me (well, for my husband actually) by Richard Wise and the setting was made by Leon Mege.
