I just think this ring is so adorably whimsical! I wouldn''t want it for an engagement ring but as a fun ring I think it would be awesome, especially if it was a gift from a gentleman as a sort of inside joke.

When my parents were married in the 70''s my mom was too much of a hippie to want a materialistic diamond. 25 years went by and she started hankering my dad for a diamond. For their anniversary he presented her with an industrial diamond tipped awl! (For non tool people an awl is like a pointy screwdriver). They did later go and pick out a diamond band.

That is both cute and well-made: I would actually wear something like that, and have fun with it! Pity it''s not a real offering ....

Unrelated: wow, their stuff is beautiful! The dandelion ring is most definitely an homage to Faberge, and in a good way ....

That''s brilliant

That is pretty cute.

They have some lovely looking jewelery on there!

that is hysterical...however I would still suffer from DSS. I just upgraded to a 2.04ct and I want bigger. Now I want a 3.25ct!! DH is going to kill me!

OK deep breaths...he won't kill you. Maybe halo the ring you have? Or a different shape?

ETA: I searched out your stone and see that a halo is in your future! He already agreed to it so it will be fine!

I believe it''s a real offering, it''s from their "lighter side" collection. I was at tiny jewel box in DC the other day and they had AMAZING MC2 pieces 50% off. How I which I had an extra 2 grand! The craftsmanship was superb.

ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha:-)

That is funny! And to go with it perhaps a couple of rings, one each side with an a light on each ring to enhance the fire?

Wish I could find a way to justify one of these

I priced one last week (0.3 center stone, white gold), approx. $1100 - $1300.
