Ring Size

I am prepared to order my new setting and a wedding band for James Allen. My only problem is I don''t know what size to get. I went into a Kay''s and a 5 1/2 was too big (same size as my current e-ring which slides around) and the 5 fit but I really had to push it to get it over my knuckles. Should I get a size 5 1/4? or does the 5 sound like it fit correctly?

if it were me, I would do a 5 1/4 and then if it spins a little then sizing beads? so that it could go over your knuckles.

OK! The wedding band I want only has 5 and 5 1/2 offered in the webpage. But, I figure I can call and request it be a 5 1/4. I don''t know why the e-ring comes in a 5 and 1/4 but the matching band doesn''t . . .
