So I''ve been searching the board about ring size vs. carat size and saw a thread where I could post such a thing, but alas, it''s not accepting new posts for some reason.
So, I''m posting these pics (one at a time ''cuz I can''t for the life of me figure out how to do more than one at a time) so others can compare.
My ring size is 4.25 and my diamond is 1.19, but "faces up" as 1.35 (which makes me very happy!) My fingers are also very small lengthwise, which makes my knuckles look huge! LOL
Regarding "diamond shrinkage" -- I got the diamond 4 days ago and thought it looked HUGE on my hand, but now that I''m used to it I think it looks just right. Not saying I''d never want another upgrade to a 2.2 or something, but for now, it works. And it works well.
