My finacee and I were searching for wedding bands. Personally, I like something in Titanium or Tungsten. She wanted a plain band that matches her Ritani engagement ring.

Robbins - 8th & Walnut
This is actually where we purchased our engagement ring. Sales person were knowledgeable and professional. They were also the lowest pressure. Prices were higher than internet, but were quite competitive. The Ritani ring I purchased were several hundred cheaper than 2 other places I visited.

Steven Singer 8th & Walnut
Right across the street from Robins. Compare to Robins, the place is sort of like a circus. It''s rather loud and lively, but not unpleasant. Sales people offer you cookies, coffee, or wine. Sales pitch is more pressured than Robbins. On the other hand, they offered us the best deals especially if they think you''re going to take off. Their selection is good but Robbins seemed to have more stuff.

Barskey 7th & Sansom
We went there twice, the first time when I was buying the engagement ring, the second time at the wedding band. I can''t say I like then either time. The sales person were high pressure and the prices weren''t that great (much more so than Robbins and Singer). Barskey does not have any Titanium ring or Tungstun.

Metal Works - 315 South Street
I visited this place because neither Robbins or Singer have a good selection of Titanium rings. While the sales persons were very nice and low pressure, I didn''t think they were that knowledgeable about their product. They claim that Titanium cannot be resized (correct), cannot be polished (wrong), and cannot be engraved (wrong). On the other hand, they were pretty good about ring fitting. Prices about average.

Unfortunately, none of the stores sell exactly what we are looking for. We found nothing we like at Barskey. Robbins and Singer does have rings that my finacee is looking for. She did not find one that fit closely to her ring. I found nothing I like on Titanium or Tungsten ring at Robbins or Singer. I did find one at Metalworks but they did not have one at the right finish.

Eventually we purchase the ring at PlatinumOverNight and BooneRing. We''ll report back on their fit.

Well at least you found something in the end. I personally love checking out all the shops but I don''t really look for unusual stuff so I can imagine it gets a bit annoying to not be able to find what you have your heart set on.

Looking forward to seeing what you bought
