I recently posted about my wedding rings not fitting after my baby was born. I am going to wait 10-12 months to do anything but I wanted to ask you all for advice.
my ering is exactly what I asked my DH for, but at the time I didn't know anything about diamonds and now I wish my ring was bigger.
I feel bad about it and DH is very against me upgrading to a larger stone - I think he's offended by it.
anyway, I have a 3 stone princess cut and I got 2 eternity bands to wear with it to give me more bling and finger coverage.
Now nothing fits and we can't size the eternity bands, SOOOOO if in 10-12 months my rings still don't fit i'll need to get new wedding rings anyway and i'll need to ering sized, so I was thinking maybe I could ask to just ADD my stones from my eternity bands TO my ering. maybe like add a halo or something. Maybe that will make my ering look bigger and blingier.
Im lost and don't know where to begin or what the best choice is. I thought maybe a 3 stone halo and found one online I loved but the center on that ring was 1.7 - which is why it looks so BIG.
my center is only 1.04 and the side princess are .44 each. then there's rounds in the band.
I'll attach a pic of how I used to wear them. please share any advice or thoughts about what I can to my ering to make it bigger.
I have a total of 56 stones, 28 in each eternity band (if I counted right) that I can add to my ering but I have not a clue what to do OR what will look right?
does anyone have any thoughts? at first I thought I could trade it my eternity rings and get a nice 5 stone ring with .5 each stone BUT then I realized that that ring would look dumb with my ering and would totally take away from my ering and DH wont like that. so im thinking the only way to get what I really want (without upsetting DH) is to maybe add my current stones to my ering.
