Ring losing diamonds

I have owned my ring for about 4 years and have had 4 different stones fall out!

What shape diamond and what number/type of prongs?

Do you mean small diamonds? Is it a halo or a pave shank ?

If so, do you take it off when you do dishes, clean, shower,sleep, exercise and what have you.
