The setting is a 3mm Platinum cathedral. Basic, but I think she'll like it. I find this diamond to be very brilliant and shiny. I looked at others with smaller tables and saw no difference in fire/sparkle etc at all other than the geometric difference. ( all the way down to 69 depth/67 table. ). I paid $3,500.00 for the stone at Robbins Bros. They asked $4,695.00 but I had 3500 cash on me. I really like this stone and thats the main reason I bought it. What do you all think? Hard to say though since the pic sucks
