Do you use them? If so, I’d love to see a pic!

I used to have one of those glass ring holders by our kitchen sink (the little glass dish with a piece that sticks up in the middle to put your rings on). But DH accidentally broke it years ago and I haven’t replaced it yet. I’d like to get a few cute ring holders or dishes to sit next to each sink in the house and I need ideas. Show me what you’ve got! :))

Hi irishgrrrl! I actually have a sweet kitty ring holder (big surprise right haha) but it’s somewhere in storage so can’t find it right now. Here’s a similar idea. Mine is a longer kitty but similar otherwise.

I have one on my bathroom vanity and it is THE only place I take off my rings! That way it is impossible to lose them! Mine daily use one is an inexpensive crystal one, but my intent is to get a nice Waterford Crystal one. I was given a gift of a beautiful Jay Strongwater (Neiman Marcus) ring holder, and it is on my dresser.

Here are mine, they are well used. The sterling plated one needs some Tarn X, I fear!

Ok, I gave it some Tarn-X. IMG_20180414_082043589.jpg
Eek--- it looked bad!
I should take it to the polishing wheel. I never thought of that before:P2

All of these are lovely!

@missy I love the kitty one! I have a similar one on my desk at work, but he’s an elephant instead of a kitty. :mrgreen2:

@diamondseeker2006 The one I had was very similar to your crystal one. I love that JS one though! Absolutely beautiful! :appl:

@stracci2000 that silver one is gorgeous! I kinda like it tarnished, TBH. It really brings out the detail!

I love the decorative items people use! I use the small Eiffel Towers found in tourist shops all over France. They are inexpensive and many of them have small marble bases, so they are steady when set on a counter. They hold several rings at a time, and don't shatter when I/the cats knock them over, which is regularly. I have a current photo only because this ring and Tower had been packed away for months during our move, and when I found it yesterday I was so excited I took a picture and texted my daughter with it.

Ok ok I know this is overkill but here is mine. I place my everyday pieces in those trays but the solitaire goes in the flower one. Then every week I place the jewelry in these ceramic egg containers to give them a good soak with after after they are placed in the us with the Caribbean gem followed by a quick steam

That Jay Strongwater piece is awesome.

Wink

Thank you, Wink! It truly is a little handpainted work of art (and prettier than my photo). I have another little jewelry tray from him, as well. I think they are perfect complements to the outstanding diamond rings we are used to here on PS!

@Maja the Eiffel Tower idea is perfect! So cute!

@BlingBlingLova those are all awesome, but that flower is like WOW! And the little egg dishes are perfect for soaking the rings in! Now I’m gonna need one of those, too! :twisted2:

Here is a cute one that I bought on Maui from the artist.
When traveling, I always make it a point to buy from local artisans.

you’ll never guess where I got that rose! Ross! $9.99! It’s a votive holder but I use it to store my solitaire lol. Man is it heavy and solid! Can’t knock it over by accident. Searched all Ross stores in our area for more but couldn’t find anymore

Ditto! And great thread topic!

I currently keep a mini brandy snifter I picked up in Coronado last year on vacay by my kitchen sink to soak my rings & studs for cleaning, or to put my rings in when I do dishes, am cooking, etc. I have a beautiful heart-shaped carnival glass dish thingy with a lid that I would love to find & use, but it must be in storage somewhere because I haven’t seen it in a few years.

I take my rings off when cooking and doing dishes. Does putting then on the top of the coffee grinder count???

DH found this while digging for Sea Shells in the Gulf of Mexico. We were vacationing in Clearwater Beach, Florida for our Anniversary. The moment he found it, he came running up the beach to give it me, and said, “This would be perfect for your rings! Just put a soft cloth inside it & there you go!” lol!! He was very thoughtful, and the fact that it was so unusual, and he was so excited (and proud of himself), I accepted it. I do use it, to hold my rings, in the kitchen, when I have to take my rings off to do dishes, or cook.

Beautiful, Turtle accented, decorative measuring spoons. They were gifted to me by my FIL, our First Christmas, together. I keep them in the China Cabinet & use them to hold my rings, when I have to take my rings off to clean or take a shower.
