Happy New Year everyone! Passed through the mall yesterday & I saw this ring at Zales & I thought it was sooo cute. I've finally decided to leave my original 1 ct E-ring alone (not downsize or change setting), but this one is adorable. I think it would make a good right-hand ring, what do you think? Do any of you ladies own right hand rings?

UPDATE: FI has already purchased the band to go with my original E-ring so we are all set. Now, I need to get him his band. We have 7 more months til our wedding in Punta Cana!

Here is the ring I have my eye on

That is a modified halo. Its cutish

But whatever you love, but id be concerned about the quality from Zales. Plus seems to look very similar to your engagement ring.

I have a RHR i got off ebay. Sometimes when im feeling moody i wear my engagement ring as a RHR and just wear my w band.

I see what you're saying, would it be bad if I got it as a RHR though even if its similar to my E-ring? The jewler lady said she thought it'd make a good RHR...but what does a RHR signify? just extra jewelry? I'm genuinely curious. FI thinks I will look like Mr. T with all these rings haha! :)

No it's not bad at all! My e ring looks more like a RHR and my RHR more like a classic e ring. But I wear them how I want because that's how jewelry should be!

From my understanding a RHR is just a ring you like to wear. I don't think it signifies anything. Though someone can correct me if I'm wrong

Fiance said he'd get it for me!!! But I feel bad, its only $700, but I wonder if I should get it myself since he already bought my wedding band, especially if it looks like my e-ring already.

I too, think a rhr can be anything you want it to but I am not sure I would want another ring competing with my engagement ring. It is supposed to be the star of the show. If I was in your situation and my fiancé said I could pick a rhr, I would choose something antique or vintage, something with history. It is just my opinion, but I don't like jewelry from the mall. I got my engagement ring there and I feel like I got ripped off. I think getting something antique will give you something with more bang for your buck. These rings here I have posted are all less or the same price as the one you want from the mall. But the one you like is very pretty. I just wish I knew I could get amazing things for less money before I got married.

Isn't it all the same pretty much anyways? I'm sure you guys can sort it out.

I'd just make sure that ring hashing enough quality.

I might also look around eBay. Put in your budget as the limit and see what comes up. Especially in the antique and vintage category. You can find some great stuff there.

I found those rings on eBay. I agree you can find some great things on there. I just got my first rhr from eBay and I know if I would have bought it anywhere else, it would have been a lot more!

I'll think about it  it's just so cute, maybe I will look at it as a fashion ring or wear it on a locket, since the diamond is so tiny.

you could wear it as a ring! that would be fun. Do whatever you want with it

My advice is to wait and always get quality jewelry. That diamond has I2 clarity.

Niel, can you PM me? I have to ask some advice. I don't know if that works on this website though.
