Right-hand ring setting help

How would you set a 1.5 carat princess on a petite finger (size 3.5). I was thinking maybe a three-stone, but was wondering if it might end up too long (horizontally) on my slim finger? I have a round halo for my E-ring/wedding ring, so I want something different. Should I consider wearing a right-hand ring on my middle finger or do most people people choose their ring finger? Thoughts, advice, suggestions, and images are all welcome Thanks!

I'd go to a nice store and try things on. I did that, and found I really liked a 3-stone for a RHR and I had never even considered one before I tried it on.

I found this gorgeous ring (Diamonds by Lauren - one of my favorites) and I love the bezel. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas on how to incorporate a side stone on each side of the center stone?

Google found this picture at lublinerbrothers.com. I think the single princess stone bezeled is much more striking, though.

Not three stones but MaeVona has some cool sleek settings that might appeal to you since you are looking at bezels.

My personal fav is Sholdt for a semi bezel. I have this setting sans channel diamonds for my EC. When I was shopping I tried this on and it is perfection IRL. http://www.sholdtdesign.com/Vashon/R452.htm
Sholdt does have a bezel three stone for rounds and they do custom work so might be worth checking into.
