Hi Everyone

To celebrate a new job and a new stage in my career I decided I wanted to have a RHR made. After reading so many positive reviews on Pricescope about Whiteflash I emailed them to begin the process. My CAD''s are here and I was hoping to have suggestions or comments from anyone who would like to comment! It''s going to be 6mm wide in 18k white gold with asschers in the centre and round diamonds on both sides. I think I love it, but I''m curious if anyone thinks anything could be improved upon?

Thanks in advance!

Oh my lordie! Its coming out lovely! It looks great as is, congrats on your new job!

Congratulations!!!! and it is goign to be bee-yoo-ti-ful!!!

Thank you! I thought I would have things to change but I really like the way it looks. It was based on this ring, which used carre cut stones in the centre, but I wanted asschers. Does anyone see anything in this ring that doesn''t look like it''s translating well to the CAD''s?

It looks great to me! You must be sooooo excited.

It looks awesome! I can''t wait to see it in real life. Maybe Whiteflash will make it a regular offering!

Stunning!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE IT!!!!!!!! I want one exactly like it!!! Does there need to be that much medal in the channel separating the square-cuts from the rounds? I would just ask them to minimize that as much as possible, but I think it is fine the way it is. I just always like the look of the least amount of metal possible on eternities. I CAN''T WAIT TO SEE HANDSHOTS!!!

It''s gorgeous! Is it inspired by Eva Longoria''s wedding ring?

Gorgeous ring! I thought the same thing about Eva''s ring - I love it!

Hey - thanks for all the great responses, I''m glad everyone thinks it will look good! I hadn''t even seen Eva Longoria''s ring but I just googled it and it''s beautiful! A bit too much bling for me though, LOL. I came across it when I googled asscher and carre cut eternity bands and I fell in love with it straight away. I know the metal looks quite thick between the Asschers and the rounds but I actually really like it, I think it makes it look more like a RHR then a wedding band that way.

Can''t wait to get it made and I''ll post hand shots as soon as I do! This has been such a great project as its keeping me from obsessing about the other diamond ring that I hope will soon be in my future!

I love it, it is going to be gorgeous! I have a WF custom ring and the CAD is always a little thicker in the metal than the final product, so I think it will look superb.

I like it. I like the mix of the 2 shapes of diamonds.

Hey everyone

Thanks again for the responses. I''ve been speaking with whiteflash to confirm the size of the stones used and the asschers will be approx 2.5mm. Now I realise I''m not going to see a lot of the windmill detail but will I see enough to know they really are asschers? I''ve never seen an asscher that small in real life.

I have a set budget for the ring and I''m wondering if I make the ring a 3/4 eternity and up the size of the asschers, whether that would still look good, or maybe look better? Oh boy.... I think I''m getting into that whole change your mind a million times thing people talk about with custom work!

I think the ring is outstanding as it is, but what I wanted to ask is, do your fingers swell at all? Either from heat, salty foods or hormones? If so, I''d do the 3/4 eternity with slightly larger diamonds so you''d have a small sizing bar on the back.

Hi Gemgirl

I don''t really think they swell but I don''t wear a lot of rings at the min so I''m not sure! I do live in a place that is pretty hot and humid in the summer so I think its a good possibility. Also I''m (relatively) young and I wonder if as I get older or maybe have kids if my fingers would change so I guess in that respect maybe a 3/4 would be better?

I sort of did want it to go all the way around but I''m more concerned with being able to see at least some of the asscher pattern while I wear it on my hand.

I think it looks great!

I think that might be a good idea, especially if you are right-handed, and you tend to grab things with and use your right hand more. I can get away with an eternity on my left hand bc I don''t use it as much, but I am still very careful with grabbing things and opening things with my left hand when I have my eternities on. A 3/4 RHR will allow you for bigger asschers, room for sizing, and also probably any damage to the bottom of the ring. I am so excited to see the finished product, it is going to be amazing!!!

I meant to say "prevent any damage to the bottom of the ring" :)

EHR -

That''s exactly what I was thinking as well. And as I am right handed and I''m not really used to wearing rings I''m thinking more and more a 3/4 would be better. Luckily I''m not super active as I''m more of a bookworm then anything else

And bigger diamonds can never be a bad thing!

love it! can''t wait to see the finished piece!
