Has anyone seen Richard Homer''s Hexagonal Satin Snowflake cut? I was just in Barnes and Noble and saw it on the cover of the Jewelry Arts and Lapidary Journal. He won a 1st place award for it. It was a blue topaz stone that was featured. It''s beautiful! I love snowflakes!

That is just beautiful and so unique! What a pretty pendant that would make!!!

Hi Sundial - I'm taken by this snowflake!

That''s so unique! Love it!

I am fortunate enough to have purchased one of Richard''s snowflake blue topaz gemstones. Mine is a little over 9ct and I will be putting it into a pendant for my future mother-in-law. It is a beautiful design and Richard certainly deserved the award.

What a nice son in law you are!!!

I''d love to see a picture of the pendant!

It looks as though I will be holding off until around April to give it to her for her birthday. Sorry to get your hopes up prematurely

What type of pendant are you setting it in? How many mm does the stone measure? Don''t forget to take pictures.

Can anyone speak to the price of a unique cut like that?

I''m curious about the price also. Wink Jones posted the photo in the gallery.

Wow, that is a gorgeous cut! I think that''ll be the next thing on my list that I want.

Paul, you''re such a good son-in-law!
