Richard Homer recut blue/green Mozambique tourmaline

The tourmaline looks more blue in daylight, and more green in artificial lighting. I was sceptical about concave cutting in the beginning, whether i would like it or not. But the cut makes the stone more brilliant/sparkly, and helps to hide the needle-like incluisons in the tourmaline. Thanks everyone!

Oh good grief, that ruby ring is perfection! I LOVE it!

Adding a Richard Homer ruby to my wish list now... Richard''s stones are quite addictive. I only own one, but I am seriously thinking of having my yellow sapphire recut by him after seeing what a difference it made it your stone.

I just got the recut carat weight from Wink. The tourmaline now weighs 6.25 carats. The initial weight was 7.63 carats.
