Forgive me if this may sound like a dumb question, but is this possible and "normal" to do? I''ve had my ring not even a year and its tarnishing somewhat. I don''t want to ruin my diamonds, but it would be nice to have the shiny finish on the metal part.

thanks!

I don''t see why it would be a problem...

I had a mother''s ring rhodium plated that had a ruby and 2 saphires in it- and they were fine. I couldn''t imagine it would be a problem for diamonds.

Yes it can be rhodium plated, the plating does not stick to stones.
