Hello,

I recently bought an engagement ring online and need to have it resized. Can anyone suggest where I would be able to have this done in Philadelphia, and an idea on the cost.
I would also like to have someone look at the ring and let me know that it is in fact a real diamond. I bought it from an online store that I felt was reputable enough, and got a really good price. I am just now concerned i may be giving my wife-to-be a fake ring!
Thanks for any info or help!

Alex

is the ring plain? is it a 3-stone? channel set? These things will affect how hard it is to size.

I have an excellent bench jeweler but he''s just outside the city. Let me know if you''re interested. He''s also listed here under local jewelers. I highly recommend him. Main Line Today Magazine just did a story on him as THE jeweler to go to for having things repaired, sized etc... It''s a 10 minute drive from the city. He''s in Narberth, PA

Wow these were some fast replies already.
I live in Center City and dont have access to a car much, but i will keep that in mind, Kaliegh.
The ring is a 1 carat solitaire with small baggeuttes on the sides, and it''s white gold.

A&K locaed at 725 Sansom St. will do sizing correctly.

If someone wants to know of a coloress stone is a diamond, we are directly accross the street and Mike Jordan or Chris DiCamillo, tow of the fellows who do appraising in our offices, could look and tell you if it is real for no cost.

Wow - you would look at it for free and let me know if the diamond is real?
Do you do resiizng at your store?
