resize platinum and diamond ring?

Hi everyone this is my first post so hope its in the right place!
the attached photo is of a ring that i am thinking of buying but need some advice first!

it is currently a size J (U.K) and i need a size M or N
is it possible to have resized?

I see no reason why that ring could not be resized.

Thanks Jazmine - i''ve read that some resizing would need the ring to be taken apart and completely reworked - this may cost a fortune and also have read it sometimes not poss with platinum and stones so need to know before i buy as is a very expensive ring for me anyway!!

Because it's rounded, I don't think they can put a leaf spring in it to make it smaller (but I assume M is larger than J anyway). I'm pretty sure they can cut it and resize or just take some metal out of the inside (but would no longer be rounded). I would think it would be under $150 USD. If they cut, you may see a slight difference (filler), but it's under your finger, so no one will see it. I'm no expert, but just went through a platinum resizing yesterday.

PS - If they do expand it by cutting, I would ask about any change to the head, you don't want the diamond falling out. If I were buying this new, I probably would look for other sources and try to get something closer in size.

I don''t know how far a re-size is from J-M...but it should be safe to re-size this ring a couple of sizes without a problem.
