Reshaping prongs

Hi all, I ordered this Gabriel ring through IDJ for my engagement band.

I don't particularly like the squared off prongs and inquired to IDJ about it but was told they could not be changed through Gabriel. The rep at IDJ did say that a jeweller could reshape the prongs. Is this possible?

I prefer teardrop or round-shaped prongs similar to these:

Does anyone think the prongs on my Gabriel ring could be shaped/tapered to be more of a teardrop shape at the ends? Or do I have to get completely new prongs/diamond setting?

I just posted a thread about this a few min before you! Yes, in short the prongs can be reshaped - finding a skilled jeweler to do this is a bit of the tricky part!

Oh I didn't see your post! Thanks for the info. I'm glad to know it is possible to have the prongs reshaped.

Also, does anyone have a good way of knowing a jeweller is good? Like some type of review site? I'm fairly new to the area and don't know the reputation of these jewellers nearby that I found on Google:
