I think I already know the answer to my question, but I'll ask anyways.

My parents got me a diamond tennis bracelet as a wedding gift and although it is very sparkly and nice, the diamonds are claw set and the claws get caught on everything and so I never ever wear it except special occasions. I would love to be able to wear it everyday and I think that if it were bezel set, I wouldn't have that problem. Is it even a good idea to bring it to a jeweler to get the stones bezel set or... for the price of the labour and everything, getting a whole new one would be a better idea (I prefer to just have 1 tennis bracelet though!)

I think this is probably one of those situations where it'd be best to get quotes from some jewelers... I think the diamonds in tennis bracelets may be big enough to make resetting worthwhile.

Everything would depend on the quality of the diamonds. I have a pre-PS tennis bracelet that has pretty nice quality stones, but it isn't at the level of something like WhiteFlash. I also do not wear mine often, but it is mainly because I am dressed super casually most of the time. I would not pay to reset these stones, though. I'd want the better diamonds and would just get a new bracelet!

What size diamonds? If they are really small it probably would not make sense but if they are larger and a new one would be a lot more I would reset. You can contact David Klass, I think he would be able to do it at an affordable price. I have a bezel set and it is worry free as far as catching on things. With the bracelet being a gift, I would probably lean more towards resetting it because I would like the memory every time I wore it.

I have reset a few things and I have fou that the setting and labor is still a large portion however if you have the diamonds that will definitely help. I would do th reset. There is no harm in asking for quotes.

Or you can make something entirely new! I had a diamond tennis bracelet I inherited from my MIL. I'm having Daniel M make me a DBTY necklace and bracelet with it. As a surprise for my husband I'm also having cuff links made - in the shape of old school nintendo controllers with diamonds for buttons since it was his mother's bracelet.
