In 2010 I bought a fabulous M coloured diamond from GOG http://www.goodoldgold.com/diamond/5132 and ended up setting it in a spare LOGR setting I had https://www.pricescope.com/community/threads/an-m-for-me-part-2.150125/
but ...
as much as I adore the stone, the quality of the setting is annoying to me for such a good quality stone, so I'm looking for a new setting and am going to put a cheaper spinel I have in the LOGR setting. (I do actually like the style of the LOGR setting, its just IMO the quality isnt worthy of the GOG stone).
I'm hoping I can once again impose on the good natures and knowledge of PSers to help me find a white gold / plat setting worthy of my GOG M.
I'm open to any and all suggestions, except 3 stones (cos thats what my wedding band is and it would be too much to have this as a 3-stone as well). I generally prefer modern or contemporary styles but am happy to also consider antique / vintage style cos I think they really suit lower coloured stones.
So... if anyone has any ideas, thoughts , suggestions, please post them. They will be very gratefully recieved.
