Hello all,
You may have seen my question below about how to clean a rose gold ring -- my new Tiffany Metro ring in rose gold
I'm considering re-setting my original engagement diamond into a rose gold solitaire, something like Brian Gavin's Tapered Tiffany Style Half Round: http://www.briangavindiamonds.com/engagement-rings/solitaire/tapered-tiffany-style-half-round-18k-rose-gold-5540r18
I love how the rose gold looks with my skin tone, and want the versatility of a solitaire so that it can be paired with different stacking bands. Plus I have a 2 year old daughter and a baby boy on the way, so pave may not be right for my lifestyle right now... maybe for my 20-year re-set
. Right now my diamond is in a platinum setting by Simon G that has some princess-cut side stones and milgraining, which, to be honest, I helped pick out but ultimately have never been in love with.
Anyway, any other suggestions other than the Brian Gavin? I'd like to stay under $1,500, so no Leon Mege Princessa for me. I looked on James Allen's website and through some of the SMTB history and Brian Gavin seems to be the top recommended choice...
Thanks!
