Resale of Calla engagement ring

A friend has offered to sell me this ring for a good price. Anyone have any idea what I can get for this ring if I resell? I do have enough money that I can hold on to the ring until I find a good buyer.

If nothing else I can help out someone in a bad financial situation. I am not sure why he cannot return the ring.

It's nice of you to want to help your friend, but I think, in this instance, your friend is better off helping himself. So if you want to stay friends with your friend...point him at Craigslist or eBay and let him do his own sale to a sincerely interested buyer.

To be honest, the ring doesn't look like something I would buy second-hand, nor would I be pleased if someone offered it to me as a gift. It doesn't have a stone of remarkable size or beauty - instead, it's melee with a four-stone center - and I don't find it very appealing.

Anybody else have an opinion?

Not worth it at all unfortunately...the resale for second hand jewelery isn''t good...

he might try to see if the place he purchased from will sell it on consignment. craigs list or ebay might be a good option too.

Can your friend use it towards trade on a new piece from the original jeweler?
