Hi all,

What is your opinion of this stone? My parameters are: D-F, no less than VVS2, and high quality symmetry with lots of fire and light return...this just seems to be a good deal for the price so I am skeptical.

What appears to be dragging this one down the most is the inclusion near the table...and the symmetry in the crown...but I would appreciate others'' opinions. Thank you in advance!!!!

Gorgeous! It is a VVS2 - if the inclusion were a problem it would have received a different grade. Place it on reserve while you think about it so that it doesn''t disappear!

I don''t see anything to beware off. I know someone who just bought a stunning 1.42ct G/VVS2 for 14,500. GIA EX EX EX 0.8 on the HCA. So the pricing seems about right. I know that is a rare size to find, especially in the nice cuts.

Unless you have some sort of super powered microscope, I can assure you, you won''t see the inclusions! You certainly won''t see them with a loupe!

That stone is precisely what I was looking for two years ago, but 1.4 ct. H&A stones are hard to come by. I wanted VS1, but this would have been close enough! I ended up going a little larger and down in color, and I have been tempted to trade for this particular stone! Jonathan can tell you that I have emailed him to ask about it!

As far as the price is concerned, the competitive pricing on super ideal cut stones is why most of us have bought from vendors who are frequently mentioned on this forum, including Good Old Gold. I guess they have a better volume since they sell or have sites on the internet and can give the best prices. I assure you there is no catch. I have a 1.6 ct. stone from GOG and two hearts and arrows stones from WhiteFlash for earrings. They are top quality at decent prices, and they are graded by either GIA or AGS, the most reputable labs. I''d never buy a diamond any other way!

I''d like to see this one go to a nice home so I won''t be tempted anymore! (I do love my own stone, though!)

I''d put this beauty on hold PDQ. It''s a winner!!!
