Reputable New Jersey or New York Appraisers???

Anyone know of any reputable appraisers in Northern New Jersey, New York areas. Also, how much is usually spent on an appraisal and is it really necessary if I have a GIA certificate. Should I just get it verified or get it appraised to?

You need formal appraisal if you are going to insure your ring.

You also might want to verify that your diamond is as represented with an independent expert.
